Aloha and mahalo for visiting our site. This is your opportunity to get away to a tropical island paradise lodging with an ocean front view, swimming pool, spa and more. The condo is located on the sunny Kona Coast side of the Big Island of Hawaii, just a step away from the town of Kailua-Kona. The Big Island of Hawaii offers many activities; Be sure to check out the listings on our activities page. Near Sea Village is Kahaluu State Beach. With facilities for changing into your snorkel gear, it has an abundance of tropical fish and sea turtles. There are several snorkel and scuba dive charters such as Adventures in Paradise that offer snorkel, kayaking and hiking tours around the island. Another excellent snorkel and scuba place is PU'UHONUA O HONAUNAU (Place of refuge) just south of Captain Cook. Turn right just before you enter the park. With an island this big you can play golf on a different course everyday, whether it's by a volcano, near the ocean, or in the high country. The Big Island of Hawaii has a variety of beaches from black sand, white sand and for the more adventurous hiker, green sand. Both the Black Sand Beach, and, the Green Sand Beach are located near the southern most point of the island. For swimming, sun bathing, and body surfing, White Sands Beach, just south of Sea Village, and Hapuna Beach in the Kohola area, are very inviting. The Big Island of Hawaii also is home to several volcanoes, one of which is still active. The lava can sometimes be seen flowing into the ocean in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. There are charter helicopter flights and small airplane charter flights that fly over the volcano area. Both the helicopters and small airplane tours also give you a birds-eye view of the many waterfalls on the island. |
